I selected a word and tapped link tool. I selected a article to link to, then changed my mind and tapped into the search field, deleted it and started typing a new word. But no search terms appeared. Then I tried to delete this search term and it won't delete, and I also can't type in anything else.

Tested on beta labs and seems to work for me.
Kaity if it's still broken can you provide some clearer steps to replicate this?

Ah sorry Juliusz just let me know this is a problem on iOS and I just noticed your iOS comment. Is it also iPhone?

This appears to be a bug in OOJS-UI
It seems selecting an item does something weird with the focus of the input on an iPad.

@ryasmeen, it might be the same bug, yes. However, this bug is older than the one you reported.
