If an article has abbreviated anchor links, such as [[#foo]] in the article "bar", but there is no corresponding anchor (typically because the sections were retitled after that link was added), then on desktop the link simply points to the page itself; that link is equivalent to [[bar#foo]].

In the app, by contrast, tapping it will open the browser, with a link like this: http://www.wikipedia.org/#foo
