User (talk | contribs) commented on <topic>", meaning that if a topic contains special formatting or images, they are parsed and displayed, potentially breaking the layout.
This was actually fixed in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/127666/ prior to the bug report. It just hasn't been deployed to mediawiki.org yet.
