107MB. I hope that uploading one such file won't make us run into bug 49118 again when creating scaled image versions... :)

Pictures up to 150 or so MiB can easily be uploaded through the UploadWizard, just enabled chunked uploads in your preferences on Wikimedia Commons (at <https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-uploads>).

I'm marking this RESOLVED INVALID as the request can be fulfilled without the use of server-side uploads.
Comment 3 gaffia 2014-05-07 11:01:34 UTC
Sorry that does not work! I tried it from a fast uplink connection, but always page error. Before upload I get a warning (no files > 100MB) and after I click it takes some minutes, but the page finally wont load. I used Firefox. Could you please upload it from the remote? Thank you.

Did you enable chunked uploads in your preferences on Commons?

You need to scroll down https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-uploads a bit.
Comment 5 Steinsplitter 2014-05-07 13:30:04 UTC
Works with chunked uploads.
Comment 6 gaffia 2014-05-07 19:20:50 UTC
Yes I did activate it. I tried 1 and 3 parallel uploads. I tried it in IE and FF. Still it fails (from fast university network...) :(
Comment 7 gaffia 2014-05-07 19:25:12 UTC
PS: I would appreciate if you wouldnt set the status to resolved, because it not. Its not uploaded and the page just wont load. Thanks.
Comment 8 Tomasz W. Kozlowski 2014-05-07 19:53:12 UTC
I'm assigning this to hoo, our in-house server-side uploads wizard.

@gaffia: Please let us know the user name you use on Commons (the file will appear as your upload); thanks!
Comment 9 gaffia 2014-05-08 07:06:08 UTC
You can find my username in the descriptions file (.txt) on the server (check first post). Thank you.
