The app currently clears all history older than 30days automatically, but since this is apparently inconsistent with user expectations the feature has been removed in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/133966. There is a 'clear all' button but perhaps sometimes people would like to clear only older history entries. A custom 'What do you want to clear?' dialog that pops up in clear all and lets people clear only a set amount of older entries might be helpful for people who are low on device disk space but do not want to lose all their history.
