Description Ocaasi 2014-05-20 14:03:42 UTC
From here:
https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:NovaServiceGroup

Try to add a member to a group.

Even though there is an existing service group my attempts to add a member to the group is failing.

Tried this with two groups:

local-wikipedia-library-reference (now deleted)
local-oclc-reference

It fails even though both I and the user I was adding have tools account access.

Sorry for the delay in responding. If this is still happening, can you tell me what member you are adding?

Hi Andrew,

Username: Ninkov
ID: 3240

Username: Ocaasi
ID: 548

Username: Nischayn22
ID: ??

We are now working on setting up an Instance, so this is less of a current need for us (I think), but would still be good if it were fixed (for others). Thanks!

It seems to be working for me. Much of that code has been rewritten recently, so maybe this was fixed as a side effect.

Please verify that this is working for you as well, and if it looks ok then mark this bug as 'worksforme.' Thanks!

No reply from Ocaasi - assuming this works now, but please reopen if that is not the case. Thanks!
