There is a Language dropdown menu on [[Special:AllMessages]] which displays the content language by default. Since I set my language to something else, every time I access this special page I have to click in the dropdown to change the language which is displayed in the table. It would be more user friendly if my language was set by default.

Isn't the average user of ptwiki using pt-BR, which is not the content language of that wiki? Most of the time I use the special page it is because I noticed something wrong in the user interface (in my user language) and can't just append uselang=qqx (because that would not submit the same request which made caused the message to appear)
