Note: a close look at the screencast of the logout instance shows the logout happens instantly upon clicking Edit source for logged-in user. In attempting to recreate the problem I encountered Bug 65710. Since the beta warning is controlled by a cookie, these issues may be related.

It showed an error: there might be an edit conflict in the save dialog and then I got logged out See the screenshots attached
