Seems this occurs when you edit a template in some way (e.g. adding a new parameter), if a named parameter has been set twice.

Not sure if this is intended behaviour or not. Bug might be a dupe, might be in Parsoid instead of VE, or something else.

This is intended behaviour, yeah; we won't dirty-diff to fix broken wikitext when you edit something else, but VE will always fix up bad existing formatting when you change the item.
