Steps to reprduce:

1.Open VE
2.Open any drop down box that comes up with a list of matching suggestions:for example:Link inspector, Category editor, template etc.
3.Type something in the text box
4.When the matching suggestions appear in the drop down box,observe that the first match which has a check mark next to it, is highlighted
5.Now mouse over that match in the drop down and 

Observed Result:
The selection loses it highlight

Not a shield issue.
