On 2014-06-12 in #wikimedia-analytics, a log message from the EventLogging
consumer that produces to kafka has been posted

  [11:30:06] <nuria> No handlers could be found for logger "kafka"

so it seems that the code is missing a proper logging setup.

Let's give it a proper logging setup, so we get the logs, and can better
debug things.
