When I compare 2 huge pages via Special:ComparePages (one of them is nearly 1MB in size) I get errors. Part of the first page's content (Super Long Page, 794,198 bytes) was: This is some text. This is some text. This is some text. This is some text. This is some text. This is some text. This is some text. This is some text. This is some text. This is some text. This is some text. .... And part of the second page's content (Blahblah, 25,367 bytes) was: sjdksajdhsakjdhw blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah .... I also encountered this error when I compared another big article named Another super page with Blahblah, but this time it did not send out anything. Another super page was about 1.5MB long and it had: Text Text Text ...
I also encountered an error when i compared Another super page with Super Long Page.
I did this on sqlite, so can anybody check if it works on mysql because this page on Wikipedia that compares with two very big pages appears to work ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:ComparePages?page1=%E2%80%8EList+of+law+clerks+of+the+Supreme+Court+of+the+United+States&rev1=&page2=%E2%80%8EList+of+United+States+counties+and+county+equivalents&rev2=&action=&diffonly=&unhide= ).
...why are you doing that? I'm assuming you're just running into a timeout due to the extremely large POST body size so nothing is returned.
It took about 2 seconds to read those pages and then the error occurred
It wasnt a POST request anyway
I just sent the titles of the pages to the special page so it must get the pages by itself. I also found that http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Special:ComparePages?page1=%E2%80%8EIssues%2F1.3.1&rev1=&page2=%E2%80%8EIssues%2F1.3.2&rev2=&action=&diffonly=&unhide= had an error, but I believe that it was a timeout.
