Is it possible to add brief information on how to use Special:ItemByTitle to the page itself? I'm thinking something along the lines of what's included on Help:Editing - I'd be happy to put something together
Please do :)
the information will somewhat depend on bug 66744 but here's what it could look like: "Special:ItemByTitle is used for checking if an item already exists in Wikidata for a given Wikimedia site page. The left field, "Site:", is where you enter the language and site code for the Wikimedia site page. For example, if you are searching to see if there is an item for an article in the English Wikipedia you would enter "enwiki." For the right field, "Page:", you must put in the exact title of the page as it appears on its Wikimedia site. This is important for retrieving the right item because there may be multiple items with the same label in Wikidata. For example, if you are searching to see if there is an item page for the English Wikipedia article on capital (the concept referring to non-financial assets), you must search "capital (economics)"—the title of the page on English Wikipedia—and not "capital" (which would instead give you the item for the Wikipedia disambiguation page on capital)." If there is a list for folks to easily find language + side codes, it may be useful to also include. All that I am aware of that is similar is the list available from MediaWiki database dumps here http://dumps.wikimedia.org/backup-index-bydb.html
