As of version ContactPage 2.x the integration with the ConfirmEdit extension via 

$wgCaptchaTriggers['contactpage'] = true; 

stopped working. This is true for MW 1.22 as well as MW 1.23 and the QuestyCAPTCHA mudule, so the other modules will probably not work either.

I think it will be very nice to get this feature back.

I "removed" it when re-writing it https://github.com/wikimedia/mediawiki-extensions-ContactPage/commit/a92f78ebcd60d2b9f97f145aac268f6f9f246a4f due to added complexity

Adding it back in again shouldn't be too much of an issue...
