Description Nnvu 2014-06-29 11:48:11 UTC
When I try to add an interlink to a word, the edit link dialog doesn't charge possible target links automatically. I have either to click in the dialog or start typing something to make target links appear.

This is an intentional change; if you just click out of the link inspector it will apply the link.

I should have probably explained this better :)
If you wrote a word, then clicked on the chain icon, didn't the inspector show automatically a list of suggested pages? Because it doesn't do this now - you need to click in the dialog to see that list.

Yes, that too is another intentional behaviour change.

Thank you, this was what we're interested in.
I'll provide an example of why I find that odd and preferred to see the target list without any need to click/type.
You taught me how to link in a fast way which allows me to focus more on writing (ie. type Foobar, CTRL-K, click on the page again = link is applied and it points to a page named Foobar). Seeing the list (hence, the possible red links - assuming the search engine works as it should, of course) makes me realize immediately if the target exists or not without an extra click.
I know I am not the only one who finds the target suggestions list a pretty awesome feature, therefore putting it an extra click away makes less sense to me as an experienced editor.
