Unlike page redirects, the alias namespaces and canonical namespaces cause HTTP redirects to the fullpagename with main/localised namespace name, e.g.

$ curl -I http://fi.wiktionary.org/wiki/User:Nemo_bis
HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently
Server: Apache
X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff
Vary: Accept-Encoding,X-Forwarded-Proto,Cookie
Last-Modified: Thu, 03 Jul 2014 19:49:33 GMT

It's easy to see in logs like http://dumps.wikimedia.org/other/pagecounts-ez/merged// that this produces double counts. Already known and negligible, filing just for the records because I couldn't find a report easily.
