May -- I'm not sure this is the right way to achieve this. Let's talk about it, I'm sure we can figure it out.
After further discussion in meetings, it was decided to make it a requirement to make the first post in order to start a topic. Hence the name of the first poster, will always be the same as the topic-creator. The line "[...] started this topic and there was one other participant" is going to be removed entirely, in another patch.
