This was previously removed (bug 39035). The original premise is valid. For user experience and design, we do want this feature, but in a more performant way.

Hi could we use http://webcloud.se/jQuery-Collapse/ this jquery collapsible plugin it is fast and open sourced. and works with newer browser as well provide support for internet explorer 6+

Reason:
Closing because this code was intentionally removed. See bug 39035 and I74725c01a2058be1151927661c of which this commit is essentially a revert. For the re-creation of this features, see bug 67954 and I9dee65eb72f7f6f1f.
