*press tab Edit
*make some changes
*press tab Edit source
*in warnng window press "Discard changes"
->will open this page https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?action=edit&veswitched=1

This is consistent with how the wikitext editor works – on an old page, the "Read" link goes to the latest (not old) version of the page. VisualEditor deliberately does the same as that.

May be possible change link for tab Editsource while user work in VE and do the same thing that do [Ξ]->"Switch to source code". This enough intuitive behavior.
