I'm not able to attach the email that I receive through MS Outlook live.com website, however, although the shown text is correct, the link associated is wrong, here few examples: Text: See bug https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66888, too Link: https://show_bug.cgi/?id=66888 Text: *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 65047 *** Link: https://show_bug.cgi/?id=65047
Impossible to analyze without the raw email attachment attached (or forwarded as a full attachment, not quoted). :(
Let me extract some HTML code from the bugzilla mail. Although in the HEAD section is used the base tag: <base href="https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/" /> Inside the mail are used both absolute and relative addessed like: 1) Absolute <a class="bz_bug_link bz_status_RESOLVED bz_closed" title="RESOLVED DUPLICATE - Links to other languages on mobile version don't link to mobile version" href="https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68063#c6">Comment # 6</a> 2) Relative See bug <a class="bz_bug_link bz_status_PATCH_TO_REVIEW " title="PATCH_TO_REVIEW - iPad tablet to mobile redirect not working (cookie or cache-related?)" href="show_bug.cgi?id=66888">https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66888</a> All the absolute links are correctly shown, while all the relative links create problems. To widen the compatibility of the emails I suggest to use only absolute links.
Upstream ticket: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=832993 WONTFIXing for downstream; not planning to do anything about it.
