Currently it's possible to link to scripts and have the editor jump to a specific line automatically. Scribunto errors use this to link to the code causing the problem, for example.

It would also be very useful if something similar could be used to search in code and jump to the first result. This is useful for large data modules, like Module:languages/data2 on en.Wiktionary. Currently we are not capable of automatically generating "edit this language" links that go to the correct part of the module. Instead the user gets linked to the top of the module and then has to search through the module for the desired information. Being able to add search terms to links would help tremendously with this.
