The text show/hide in the right of the navbox disappear after have edited a page where there is a navbox collapsed and the navbox appears uncollapsed, until the page is refreshed.
There's a hook or something to call to get these to re-activate; it's already used in VPT for sortable tables or another common gadget, I believe.
Gabrasca: Could you clarify what you mean please? Some of the language in this bug is unclear. It sounds as if some of this might be valid for MW core's collapsible elements.
Edit a page with VisualEditor, add a template written with navbox, save, the template added is uncollapsed and in the right corner of the template there is not the text show/hide.
Hm.. Doesn't seem to happen with MW's built-in collapsible functionality. And obviously enwiki's navbox (and related JS gadgets) is not a MediaWiki feature, so this bug is probably invalid.
I tried on itwiki, in a personal sandbox with a navbox (example discography of a band).(In reply to Alex Monk from comment #4) > Hm.. Gabrasca, could you link to the page showing this issue?
Gabrasca, please respond.
the issue appens only after it is saved from VE, if I reload the page the show/hide text returns.
(Quoting Alex Monk from comment #6) > Gabrasca, could you link to the page showing this issue?
Please reopen if you can still reproduce this issue.
