Steps to reproduce:

1.Open a page with VE
2.Place the cursor after a reference note
3.Press return

Observed Result:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'context' of undefined appears and the cursor jumps to the beginning of the document

Fixed by https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/148671/ , needs an oojs release.
