This is a feature request, not a bug. 1. Go to an file without an free licence on an wiki with EDP policy. - example: [[w:is:Mynd:Vörumerki Símans.png]] 2. View the file in MultimediaViewer. 3. Next to the file name I would like to see an logo for an licence with the text "No-Commercial use only" next to it. (mentioning Fair use here would not be ideal, since it is specific to US and Ukraine).
Here is an idea how I see this could be done techically. Show the logo on files that have an licence with an licencesetpl_short machine readable data class that contains the text "commercial use only". See [[commons:Commons:Machine-readable_data]] if you don´t have a clue of what I am writing about.
IMO there are two ways to this that are generic enough to be worth doing: 1. come up with a "non-free" logo and show that for all applicable licenses. 2. add machine-readable markup for the copyright status icon. I would go with the first if we can come up with a good icon - trying to show some random user-provided image usually does not end well. CC-ing Pau for thoughts.
