On enwiki:

* Inspect an existing link
* Type "N" in the text box
* Click "North America" in the suggestions list
* Click Done
* Observe that the link now points to "North American B-25 Mitchell"

What seems to happen is:
* you click North America
* the textbox is changed to North America
* a new suggestions list opens, with "North America" as the second item and "North American B-25 Mitchell" as the first
* this closes again, setting the annotation to NAB25M while keeping the text as NA
* when you click Done, the annotation is what's saved, not the text
