Thousands and hundreds digits of the year are separated by a comma, here and nowhere else in the industrialized world. Seems to be new since 1.22.5, though that's from memory. Example: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Xoloz
Seen in Safari 5.1.10. Firefox 28 and Opera 23.0 do not have the comma.
After some more research I find this: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62939 (and the several other entries linked from it). The issue is listed as fixed there. Also, testing on Safari in Windows doesn't show the issue. So, if someone with a newer Mac doesn't see commas in Safari, then presumably this submission can be closed as invalid. Sorry about that.
Cannot reproduce the problem with Firefox 31 or Google Chrome 36 on Linux. I'm not aware of any specific year rendering code depending on platform and browser, hence this is likely a problem with your browser, platform and/or rendering engine but not a problem in MediaWiki code itself.
