Wikibase uses class aliases in some places and hhvm does not always work properly with those when used in interfaces or abstract classes.

a patch was made and merged into hhvm:

https://github.com/facebook/hhvm/issues/2527

please make sure this fix is in the mediawiki hhvm package and then we can confirm if the issue is fixed or not.

this appears to be fixed when running tests on travis (and on vagrant, with hhvm)

we have removed all class aliases from wikibase and hhvm seems to be working well now :)
