I'm using the vagrant role visual-editor for my wiki.
After enabling the visual editor role I could not edit formulae... The message is available in source mode only.
I see that the visual editor for math is not super fancy now, but it should be somehow stable?
If not this can become a tracking bug to trace of the bugs that need to be resolved.

Umm. This was done in gerrit I0dd1c85a four months ago… are you running very very old code, or have you got the Maths extension configured in a way that breaks the VisualEditor plugin?

I think my version is not very old...

I'm not aware of any configuration option that disables VE-support in the Math extension.
