Description JB 2014-08-14 01:37:55 UTC
In the English-language Wikipedia, when a page has been blocked from creation, the following message appears: "This page is protected from creation, so only adminisrators can create it." with "administrators" spelled "adminisrators". For example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_9

Thanks for taking the time to report this!

Now I just need to find out where that string is actually located (might be a local on-wiki string which would make this out of scope for Bugzilla though).

I cannot reproduce this problem.

I tried opening this, with a secondary account:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_9?action=edit

And that message did not appear...
Comment 3 Andre Klapper 2014-08-18 16:09:30 UTC
No editing involved. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_9 which says " This page is protected from creation, so only adminisrators can create it."

You can use ?uselang=qqx to figure out which MediaWiki message is generating the content. It points to:

MediaWiki:noarticletext-nopermission which includes: Template:No_article_text

Fixed: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template%3ANo_article_text&diff=621788232&oldid=621047348
