Description Maryana Pinchuk 2014-08-14 21:51:37 UTC
Steps to repro:

1. In prod/stable on iPad, enter VE edit mode and tap on a 2-word wikilink (e.g. [[European robin]])
2. Open link inspector
3. Tap on the end of the second word (e.g., after "European") to drop cursor between the two words
4. Attempt to backspace and enter new text

I've seen a number of weird things happen after this step:

* No suggestions come up in the drop-down, even when there clearly should be some
* Adding new text or spaces is impossible; you can only backspace
* Backspacing too fast closes the dialog (known issue) or crashes Safari (not sure if known issue)

None of these seem to happen if you tap at the end of the text in the link inspector (e.g., after "robin") and backspace/add new text from there.

Sorry, that should be:

3. Tap on the end of the FIRST word (e.g., after "European")
