Description WhatamIdoing 2014-08-17 00:56:01 UTC
What I started with was a link to a disambiguation page:

 Foo bar CML baz bat.

What I wanted was a link to a real article, so I repointed the link:

 Foo bar CML baz bat.

Hmm, that initialism doesn't appear to be expanded anywhere on the page. Okay, what we need is:

Foo bar chronic myelogenous leukemia baz bat.

So I copied the long name out of the link tool's field, and pasted it into the middle. It produced:

Foo bar CMchronic myelogenous leukemiaL baz bat.

None of this would have been so difficult if we could edit labels in the link tool, in a separate box.

This is because of bug 48720. Grumble.
