Description Bartosz Dziewoński 2014-08-18 16:59:02 UTC
I get "TypeError: undefined is not a function" when saving after pasting an external link into a basic citation. This is rather insidious, as the error only happens when trying to save the page, which causes you to lose some work. (The same error happens when trying to switch to wikitext.)

1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combining_Grapheme_Joiner?veaction=edit
2. Click the "[1]" link in the first paragraph, "Add label" from inspector
3. Ctrl+X to cut the link (which should have been automatically selected)
4. Click "Cite" → "Basic" to insert citation at the same spot
5. Ctrl+V to paste the link, "Insert reference"
6. Click "Save page", receive error

I'm not sure if step 2 is relevant, but I can consistently reproduce like this.

Whoops. Premature enter there.

I can confirm, but in my case upon inserting the reference, I can no longer open any dialogs, including the citation dialog, nor the save dialog (i.e. when I hit save, nothing happens.)

I just followed these steps exactly (I opened the save dialog and viewed the diff, but did not actually change the content) and it worked fine. FIXED, or am I missing something?
Comment 4 Bartosz Dziewoński 2014-10-23 07:58:06 UTC
Indeed, works for me too now.
