Description Effeietsanders 2014-08-21 16:46:00 UTC
The new layout was recently set up for mailman (as afterwards announced to the list admins). I found that for some languages, if I select it on the left side (i.e. at https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikilovesmonuments ) it switches to the old layout. For example Arabic and Chinese. Other languages work fine (i.e. German, English, Catalan).

Thanks for this report, this needs the languages to be translated at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Mailing_lists/List_info. We're planning on doing another sync of more translated languages soon.

Basically, the reason why this is as it is is because the templates are codes HTML and language specific. Here, we do not have a Chinese translation etc. thus they are using the listinfo template for their language which is the old one.

Low and adding i18n.

I'll do another update either tomorrow or at time point next week so we can keep things up to date. Since encoding issues were fixed the other day, this should be nice to push.

A bunch more languages applied just now. Any of the 'redlinked' languages on the translation page are still needed.
