On Android 4.2.2 with the stock browser I use the mobile interface to upload an image from my photo gallery. It was taken in portrait mode, and the gallery correctly displays it in portrait mode. However, the image upload interface shows it in landscape mode and uploads it in landscape mode.

Is it still in landscape mode when you refresh the page manually?
