i'd like to see links to documentation on extension writing in the gadgets tab
somewhere in big fat banner at the bottom
"want to add your gadgets? _learn more_ & _get involved_, or _request an idea_"
linking to [[:mw:Gadget kitchen]] possibly

this needs to be done sometime around gadgets 3.0, as folks suggested it'll have a better, centralised infrastructure / place for gadgets (dunno what these branches mean tho)
