Created attachment 16387 [details] screenshot1 1> open a blank page in VE, open the Language inspector. 2> Now click anywhere in the Editor, the inspector stays open but the language style text drop-down selection turns blank. After that any selection you make, it continues to stay blank. And if you type in any text, a pawn gets inserted beside the text. See screenshots.

After deleting the text and pawn characters as mentioned in the steps above when i repeat the steps #1 and #2, i get this console error Uncaught Error: Offset could not be translated to a DOM element and offset: 3
Apologies.. here are the steps- 1> open a blank page in VE, open the Language inspector and select a text style from the drop-down,for ex- select Heading. 2> Now click anywhere in the Editor, the inspector closes, but the text style drop-down selection turns blank. After that any selection you make, it continues to stay blank. And if you type in any text, a pawn gets inserted beside the text. See screenshots. Delete the text and the pawn character and reapeat steps #1 and 2, JS console error is "Uncaught Error: Offset could not be translated to a DOM element and offset: 3".
