This may be the opposite of bug 68226:  

The References List dialog in Firefox 31 on my Mac is the expected width, but it is the full height of the screen.

Can't reproduce using Firefox 32 on Windows 7, nor any other browser. Is this still happening for you? I think it was fixed along with other dialog sizing bugs in OOjs UI recently.
