As seen in [0] using MediaWiki 1.24alpha (cdfa366) and Chameleon 1.0-alpha (0099a1c) displays tables without styles (vector skin is no installed).

Yeah. I recently had to remove references to common.css and the like. Will have to build a replacement. Working on it.
