Description Raimond Spekking 2014-09-15 14:25:03 UTC
Per Server Admin Log this happens on 14th and 15th of September:

LocalisationUpdate failed: mwversionsinuse returned empty list
Comment 1 Bryan Davis 2014-09-15 15:27:30 UTC
This error message comes from the l10nupdate-1 script <https://github.com/wikimedia/operations-puppet/blob/23f71c00eb9e5cd84e25dc78006189275eb51d7d/files/misc/l10nupdate/l10nupdate-1#L71>

Running `mwversionsinuse --withdb` as the l10nupdate user from tin seems to work for me however:

  $ sudo -u l10nupdate -i -- mwversionsinuse --withdb
  1.24wmf20=cawikibooks 1.24wmf21=test2wiki

Based on the timing of this breaking (worked at 2014-09-13T03:11:40Z; failed at 2014-09-14T02:01Z) I would guess that the problem has something to do with the rearranging and cleanup of deploy directory things that has been happening lately.

This problem may have been fixed by Hoo with Icf55a3185514da8064c1915a545d039456be0ef1
