Created attachment 16467 [details] References list Environment- Test2, beta 1> Have at least 2 citations on the page. 2> Select Basic -> Use an Existing Reference. The selected citation to re-use gets inserted on the page. 3> Now while the re-used citation is still highlighted. Select “Basic” again and type in a name in the “Use this group” input box. 4> Apply changes. 5> In the editor that citation gets replaced by the group name. Now delete all the citations from the page. 6> Select Insert -> References list. And click on the arrow in the “Use this Group” drop-down. Notice the group name assigned in step#3 is still visible in the suggestion list drop-down. Same thing happens when you try to access the “Use this group” in the basic citation. See screenshots.

Hey Ritu, this is intentional, because even if user deletes the citations that belongs to a specific group, user might want to use that group later and add other citations to that in that edit session.So, instead of making user to do the same step again , we are keeping the group name for that session, however if you save your edit after step 6 , you will no longer see that group name.

But was assuming that the suggestions would get updated too when the page has no citations. got it now.
