I understand that there was concerns about contrast not meeting the WCAG highest standard, but for people who are able to see the text fine, a higher contrast will make them not look disabled. 

We are still working on a solution that makes it so people who cannot see these values can up their contrast easily so they can still see these fields as disabled.
