Steps to reproduce:

1.Open a page with VE
2.Open any inspector-Link/Math/Special Character for any existing node
3.Now while the inspector is open, place the cursor any where else in the document


Observed Result:
The inspector closes and flickers in the new position.

Nope this is still happening.I guess it has something to do with the code change in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/160034/

It's now worse, see bug 71373. I speculated about why this bug happens in bug 71373 comment 3.

This appears to now be fixed (testing on enwiki); can we confirm and close?
