Mail to Tools accounts ($USER@tools.wmflabs.org and tools.$TOOL@tools.wmflabs.org) is broken: | scfc@tools.wmflabs.org | Letzter Fehler: 550 5.0.0 | Erklärung: host mail.tools.wmflabs.org [208.80.155.162] said: Unrouteable address | Auszug aus dem Session-Protokoll: | ... während der Kommunikation mit dem Mailserver mail.tools.wmflabs.org [208.80.155.162]: | >>> RCPT TO:<scfc@tools.wmflabs.org> | <<< 550 Unrouteable address I rebooted tools-mail as I thought maybe it would need to reconnect to the LDAP server after the changes, but the underlying problem apparently is that the LDAP structure/permissions seems to have changed so that /usr/local/sbin/localuser and /usr/local/sbin/maintainers, which resolve tools to their maintainers' addresses and users to their wikitech addresses, are broken: | root@tools-mail:~# /usr/local/sbin/localuser scfc | root@tools-mail:~# /usr/local/sbin/maintainers tools.wikilint | root@tools-mail:~# exim -bt scfc | scfc@tools.wmflabs.org is undeliverable: Unrouteable address | root@tools-mail:~# exim -bt tools.wikilint | wikilint.maintainers@tools.wmflabs.org is undeliverable: Unrouteable address | <-- tools.wikilint@tools.wmflabs.org | root@tools-mail:~# (And, yes, I tried that with other accounts as well :-).) Per that, mail to root that is forwarded to tools.admin@tools.wmflabs.org is broken as well.
This was accidentally broken when the LDAP change was done; unbroken.
