I have a cronjob on tools.anomiebot that submits jobs to rotate the bot's logs monthly. The cronjob itself is marked jlocal, running the script /data/project/anomiebot/rotate-logs.pl.

The run for October 1 submitted one job successfully (4440600). The rest failed with errors. The first few gave this:

 error: commlib error: access denied (server host resolves rdata host "tools-submit" as "tools-submit.eqiad.wmflabs")
 Unable to run job: unable to contact qmaster using port 6444 on host "tools-master.eqiad.wmflabs".

Then it changed over to this:

 error: commlib error: access denied (server host resolves destination host "tools-master.eqiad.wmflabs" as "(HOST_NOT_RESOLVABLE)")
 Unable to run job: unable to contact qmaster using port 6444 on host "tools-master.eqiad.wmflabs".
