this is a suggestion regarding the utility which compiles the "book" which we can make online, of various articles selected for that purpose: Please let conservation of ink and paper be guidelines in making a book! Please give us choices as to type font/size, margins etc. A suggestion: default choices should be the simplest, but other options should be available to those who take the trouble to look for them. (Put an icon somewhere which asks "Want to change the format?".) I really like the fact that i can compile a book of articles, and make lots of them. But they waste a lot of paper! I am not sure that i have made this report in the right place - can someone direct me? Jim Wixson (jimwixson@gmail.com) 971-237-4342
Thanks for taking the time to report this! This report covers several aspects, such as type font, font size, and margins. For future reference, also see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug .
I narrowed the margins. Font selection will be a WONTFIX, because it is just too complicated to put together multiple font sets which cover the extreme # of languages represented even just by enwiki. Font size might be an interesting feature request -- small/medium/large? Please open a new specific bug for this if you are interested.
