This suggestion comes from Gebruiker:Stratoprutser at nl.wp.

This is already available via the standard shortcut (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+V), and it's listed in the dialog of all keyboard shortcuts.

Is this asking for a button to do this as well?

Ah! In Firefox ctrl shift v opens Ad blocks' blockable items dialog, but disabling adblocker indeed pastes unformated.

Not sure if it needs a button or an entry under "Insert", but its always nice to have such a hidden feature somewhere exposed?

If you click on the help icon, then "keyboard shortcuts" ("Tastaturkürzel" in German), it is listed there along with the other standard shortcut commands. Unfortunately browsers will not let us provide cut/copy/paste buttons, so although we could add a "paste unformatted" button it would feel very odd…

If you couldn't find it then probably others couldn't either; we should keep this open until we come up with a good way to expose this.
