I tried the example at <https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/OOjs_UI#Showing_a_dialog> on that page itself and it didn't work. MatmaRex said it was probably due to me using the MonoBook skin:

[16:41:15] <legoktm> does the example on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/OOjs_UI#Showing_a_dialog still work? I just tried it on that page itself, and it didn't really...

[16:42:13] <legoktm> hm.
[16:42:47] <+MatmaRex> legoktm: what happens when it doesn't work?
[16:43:16] <legoktm> http://cl.ly/image/3A25281m1F3X [attached]
[16:43:55] <+MatmaRex> heh
[16:43:57] <+MatmaRex> monobook
[16:44:03] <+MatmaRex> that probably explains it
[16:44:18] <+MatmaRex> i bet it renders under page body for some reason
[16:44:26] <legoktm> should I try vector?
[16:44:33] <+MatmaRex> you can see that the overlay is displayed above sidebar

Trying it again in vector worked fine.
