Description Quiddity 2014-10-08 21:35:34 UTC
In https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topic:S3t1c9ave8zb7v0n
* Firefox is giving the first-post Horizontal scrollbars (as it should).
* Chrome and IE are not.

I've confirmed (in Chromium) that the original <pre> content at
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Metacompiler#More_explanatiion_of_why_a_meta_compiler_is_a_PEG
should NOT wordwrap. It should cause Horizontal Scrollbars, if the window is thin enough.

Comment 3 Matthew Flaschen 2014-10-14 20:59:46 UTC
Various possibilities:

* Fix scrollbars.
* Make wider always
* Make wider only if needed
* Click a special icon to pop out (maybe icon only appears if scrollbars are shown)
* Click element on the right to expand as needed.
