1. Go to https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Manual:Coding_conventions/Ruby&redirect=no&veaction=edit (revision: https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Manual:Coding_conventions/Ruby&oldid=1226556 )

2. Put the caret at the end of the second paragraph after "staff".

3. Move the caret forward with the keyboard using the "right arrow" key repeatedly

Expected: The caret must move forward through the three footnote numbers.

Observed: The caret moves to the first reference and then back before it.

This is similar to bug 71550.
