Its due to enabling 1080p HD transcodes (bug 71705). The servers are doing all the existing files before processing new incoming files.

At current rate, I would guess it would probably be back to normal in 1-2 days (Total guess, pulled out of my hat)

Yup. Guess they're likely caught up now. Will check the job queue tonight/tomorrow and can close the bug then
